Well, I'm kinda failing to be social at the moment. I'm NOT being antisocial as I'm still talking to people, I just don't seem to be able to carry on a conversation.

Two other things:

1) Waterstones sent me an email saying 'Cheap Guinness - Plus an e' I was like WTF!? Why are Waterstones offering me cheap drink and drugs! It's a BOOK shop! But it's Guiness World Records and Plus an Extra 10% off everything. Was less amused after this.

2) The DVLA has PRIDE! Just say their ad on screen and is all rainbow coloured.

So yesterday was, in the words of AVPM, Totally Awesome. There was fun and shenanigans with the girls (regardless of what your gender is you are still 'one of the girls'. Deal.) and cake and pictures and NEW PEOPLE. Liek OMG!!!11! The round robin is going to be awesome!

Today, I woke up feeling a bit rough. I'd felt off yesterday but this was worse. I thought 'this is what you get if you drink while you're ill'. Went to work which was fun but I was very tired even though I started at 1. Then my throat started getting worse and I was getting tireder and tireder. Then the dizzyness and the dry heaving. Finished my shift. Now my glands are swolen and I feel like death and it really really hurts to swallow.

My NaNo is so over right now. Off to bed, going to doctors tomorrow, will inform of health. I blame you VON!Don't really! love you!

When I saw this this morning I thought;

'Hmmm. If I could change something I'd change what school I went to so I could get a decent education but I don't currently have any serious life transitions going on, so I won't bother answering this writers block. Althought, I kind wish I did have some sort of serious life transition going on.'

Then, there was the arguement.

So, now I have six months (to the day) to find a full time job, pay back £1,200 to my mother and find a new place to live.

On the plus side, I now know why my mother has been so angry all the time. When I asked her what the problem was, why she was so angry I got the answer, and I quote, "Because you're still here." So I spent the next hour and a half cleaning and have decided that If that is her problem then I shall leave, thus, the six months.

Also, I have just realised that six months from today (the 4th November) is the 4th of May. Happy 22nd birthday to me, then.

In other news: Failing at NaNoWriMo, making some headway into ABB planning, still ill.

MERLIN

So, I Siri's post about Beauty and the Beast Part 2 and, because of too much cold and flu medication, went "OMG! I MISSED MERLIN!! WTF!?" Scrambled around BBC iPlayer trying to find it - coincidently Merlin: Beauty and the Beast: Part 1 is on BBC3 about now... - and couldn't. Then I paniced slightly. Then I realised that today is FRIDAY.

In conclusion; Thanks Siri, Thanks a lot.


DOCTOR WHO

Re-watched Journey's End and finally realised something about the Doctors. All the old-Who fans who don't like Nu-Who because the Doctor isn't old like the old Doctors were (and vice versa) seem to be missing the point.

That the Doctor is getting younger.

I know that there are going to be a million people on my flist going 'YES WE KNOW THIS AND WE KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING WITH THIS! GET WITH THE PICTURE! BOO! N00BS ARE ALWAYS THINKING THEY'RE GREAT WITH THEIR OUT OF DATE THEORIES!' but I am a n00b to this fandom and I'm putting this theory on my journal.

Thus, the theory that as the (does this 'the' need capitalising?) Doctor gets older, he get younger. Like Benjamin Button.

The point, therefore, is that I want to write a shitty teen MarySue fic of teen!Doctor but I won't as I'm guessing that there are a million of them already.

Still amazed that work means getting paid to have so much fun!

Finally have the 3rd car for my Top Gear ApocaBigBang fic and now can actually start writing it! I just hope I can get whats in my head down onto paper because it's epic in my head but I don't think it will be in actuallity. :(

I TOTALLY WOKE UP WITH THAT FUCKING COLD I DIDN'T WANT!

I was going to say something important but I can't remember it now.

Whatever. I don't care anymore.

So, this post was going to be many, many things but sadly, like so many things in life, it isn't going to be. It's going to be a post about what this post could have been if I didn't currently have the worst headache in all of creation. I better not be getting a fucking cold.

Anyway, stuff this post could have been about:

- Expo and all the lulz of it.

- An essay on 'How protective people are over the first fandom they were an active participant in.'

- Stuff about work and life

- A rant about power ballards and going postal

- Some mild speculation on why Journey's End effected me more than Children Of Earth and my epic love of Capt. Jack.

- My indecision on which fairy tale to do for TBTS

- Oppinion of Merlin ep (Beauty and teh Beast)

- A political rant.

- A controversial essay about women and jobs that would probably get me lynched



Other stuff I was going to do:

- Start writing my apocabigbang fic and reaserching some trucks/pick-up trucks/vans

- Start some planning on a potential fairy tale for TBTS

- Get some more reasearch done for NaNoWriMo

- Draft a couple of other fic ideas

- Beta stuff for wicked

- Reply to a bunch of people on various forms of social communication



What I didz:

- Draw up a rough plan for Apocabigbang fic

- Watch some TV

- Fail.

Now I am going to take a couple more pills, blow my nose, drink some water and go to bed.

So, I have a job in which I should be doing a minimum of 20 hours a week (I know, not a lot but something and if the staff keep flakeing out on us like they are it may go up...), I have signed up for apocabigbang and NaNoWriMo.

The thing is, that, I'm thinking of going to London Expo on Saturday because I can and I have the day off. I shouldn't because I don't have much money but I really kinda want to.

Plus, at some point, I will be having a night out with the work boys (as I am now the only girl) which is going to be intresting.

Also, thanks to sillyshy I'm thinking of signing up for because I obviously need another one. *le sigh* I don't write for like a year and like two before that and then BAM! I decide to do loads. Seriously people, what am I doing?

Downloaded open office on to mothers laptop so I can do all my writing on there as I find hers easier to type on.

So, guys, should I go to Expo? Y/N?

So, Friday I worked 12 hours which was hellish and hilarious all at the same time. Although, thanks to Jack (one of the guys I work with) I now have Heartbeat by Nneka (Chase & Status Remix) stuck in my head since then.

Had Saturday off but when Jon (our set-up manager) phoned me earlier to tell me my hours for Sunday he told me that there was so much that hadn't been finished on Friday night that they didn't open today like planned.

There wasn't enough left to do on Friday that could keep them occupided all day so I'm hoping that they got the labeling macheine working, organised the stock room, cleared the staff room and drew up some rotas. I doubt any of that has been done but I live in hope.

Oh, our uniforms don't turn up until sometime next week (maybe) so Jon when to Primark and brought us all black shirts. This is fine but mine is a size 18 and barely fits over my boobs letalone my stomache. When I wear my bustiea thing under it I look like an overweight page 3 girl as it streaches obsceanly over my boobs. I lol'd. I want £7 a hour if they want me to be their boob whore! ;D

Off to bed! Have to be up at 6.30am tomorrow to catch the 7.54am train so I can start at 9am. Costa had better be open...

Had my first day yesterday and was knackered. There are 8 staff, one supervisor and one manager, and at the moment we have two guys from other Menkind stores setting us all up. Only one other of all the staff is a girl and I don't like her because she doesn't seem to like getting stuck in.

Yesterday was knackering. Worked 8.45 - 6ish but the store is currently being refurbished around us and all the stock needed to be labeled and moved and sorted and then some of it put out and sorted again and moved around again.

Working today doing 12 - 12. Today will be putting out stock, moveing it around, tidying up, waiting for the cleaners, more building a refurbishing, the tills to turn up and be programmed, sorting out hours, training on tills and demonstrations with the toys (yes, I get to play with toys as part of my job!).

Then after I've finished work I'm doing the weekly shop with my brother. Then I shall die.

The shop opens Saturday and I'll be working then as well most likely. November is looking slightly like Hell at the moment...

YES, I CAN!!!

Had an interview today for a retale job. It's only a 10 week contract (Christmas temp work YAYZ! I love working at christmas it so much fun!) but I start tomorrow and it ends on the 4th of January but it looks like that during that period I'll be doing full time or almost full time! YAYZ!


Although... November is going to be very busy! Work, NaNo and Apocabigbang planing! EEEP! Plus looking for a job after Jan!

Was it really 16 hours? Really? *is shocked* I totally didn't go to bed until 3am and then was awake at 8am so YAYZ! The return of the insomnia. Or, well, the continuation of the insomnia but now going back to the bad times when I was 17, but that's less catchy...

So, freaky dream is linked to spending too much time on topgearslash. Depending on how long you've known me you may remember this happening with Merlin and the freaky dream about the sex D&D with the Slash Dragon... Luckily for everyone (including me) this was slightly less strange than that. I can't remember much of the dream although, it did highlight the fact that I suck at being a self insert even in my dreams. ANYWAY, dream: I'm at this crime scene (because, apparently, I work for the police in this dream), there are blood splatters in the bathroom of this house but no body and not really enough blood to believe that the victim is dead. Jeremy Clarkson was, for some reason, both there and House (which is silly as I've seen half an ep of House and have no reason to even think of it at all), then he deduced that the victim was James May and that he had been kidnapped and not murdered. Thats all I can remember really, don't know where Richard Hammond is during all this. It was like Top Gear crossed with House and CSI. I lol'd.

There is an ambulance out side. Off to be nosey. neighbour has collapsed but it doesn't seem serious as no one seems to be rushing anywhere.

Anyway, Top Gear is my, not new really but, obsession. I loves it! The only problem is that it's filmed in Surrey and, as people know, I've had enough rants on the geography of Surrey when talking about Harry Potter that you can see where this is going. I shall try not to rant about Dinsfold Park and it's geographial relation to London (or civalisation for that matter) because it's something really stupid to get ranty about but when you live there (or close by) it's difficult not to.

Also, lulziest moment in TGS so far is getting Peirs Morgan and Colin Morgan mixed up in my head. To be fair, the only name given was Morgan and TGS is RPS so was slightly on the right track. Did wonder, though, why Colin Morgan was a bad guy and if he had actually met any of the Top Gear lot...

I'm waiting for my friend to get ready then we are off to get her nipple pierced. Thinking of getting scafolding done but still unsure.

Good (and slightly dubious) things about today:

- Have spent some hours on spnkink_meme loling, sinking to a new low and finding out that of all the kinks out there that can distract me from a fic, and not in a good way, I have a problem with Sounding. I don't really think it's a squick per se, more just me sitting there going 'Ow...'. It may also have something to do with reading on weepingcock about doing it wrong and coming blood...

- I have made a (rather epic) start on tidying and clearing my room. This brings me to my next good thing of...

- ...finding loads of books!

- topgearslash approved my request to join them! YAYZ!

- I'm very much still enjoying the reel_merlin fics everyday.

- A family friend came over today which was awesome to see them again!

- Someone commented on all of my random one-shots which made me very happy!

I have about 10million comments to reply to and some jobs I have to apply for but is currently well tired and going to do it tomorrow. Maybe.

So, there I was watching Dr Who on BBC iPlayer when suddenly, this one, throw away line, makes me ship the Dr/Shakespear. Congratulations me, you have to pick the most random pairings ever.

Thinking of buying the Supernatural boxset of the first 3 seasons because I want to get back into it again. Also, because of the whole thing with the beginning of season 5. The twitter thing was LOLZ.

So, yes day 7 of the happiness meme even though it's suppose to be day 8. I was very very tired yesterday and, as such, went to bed instead of doing a meme. I'm like that.

Good Things:

- Yesterday went very well and all plans ran to time. Yayz!

- I ran into Kat (one of the many people I know called Kat. This one works in the local CO-OP) and had a laugh.

- Sleeped.

- Reading my new book A Classical Education; the stuff you wish you'd been taught at school. It rocks but also makes me wish I was smart enough to be able to, not only learn but, keep up with learning classics. I think I might try and teach myself Latin and Greek (as well as the other million things I want to learn)...

- LOL'd at a documentry about the Asian Tsunami. It isn't something you should laugh at but when the falt line that caused it is called MEGA THRUST I am going to turn into a 12-year-old and giggle for all I'm worth.

- Going to watch Dr Who on iPlayer. Yayz! Martha Jones FTW! There is a story to why I think Martha Jones is full of LOLZ. It has nothing to do with DW (mostly because I've only seen series 2).
